Baby Guyton?

I spoke with Dr. "The Physio/Hyperbaric Professor" about what books to get for his class before leaving the island and he suggested "Baby Guyton." I assume that it is not the 1000+ page behemoth that is for sale at University Books...

A search for "Baby Guyton" on VMD yeilded no productive results. Neither did a Google search... (OOPS! I should have used PubMed!)

Seriously, what exactly is "Baby Guyton" and where may I find it?

Thanks in advance,

J

That nailed it! Thanks for the quick response.

Did you use it, or did you carry the boat anchor around?

The only book I have purchased brand new for my courses on Saba so far have been the photographic anatomy atlas by Rohen. It was a nice book to have in the dorm when I didn't feel like going into the lab, but it's not something to use as a primary anatomy atlas because the bodies look a mess in the lab.

Everything else, if you want it, you can usually find second hand from students with no problem. (This is for 1st semester)

For 1st semester, the ONLY book I absolutely needed:
Netters Atlas

The word docs you are given are all you need for the lecture aspect of Anatomy.

Some people use the Embryo books - they are great for a reference. I never used them. That being said - maybe I would have gotten more Embryo questions had I read the books :P Who knows!

I never cracked a Histo book all semester.

It's a matter of preference for 1st semester - some people like reference books.
