Say I ran out of money half way through.....

Our members don't see this ad.
So, say I can only get enough money to last me until I'm done my time on the island. Would the school let me take a leave of absence if I needed to? Would they let me do my clinicals say a year later if need be? I'm asking this because I'm afraid the banks aren't going to give me the full line of credit I need and curious if I should just start basic sciences in Sept assuming it would be ok if I needed to break things up. Thanks guys.

Which bank did you get a line of credit with?

A feasible option is to apply for a LOC at another bank. Hopefully the new bank will give you enough monies to cover up your existing LOC. Approval criteria among differnt banks varies drastically. Some people falsely assume that if you did not get approved at one bank all of them will deny you.

You can take leaves of absence. I know several students who left for a semester or more. I'm not sure what the limit is, but a few students left for 2 semesters and then came back.

Not to discourage you or anything, but several of the students who took leaves due to loan problems didn't end up coming back.
