So i am thinking about adding a netbook that I won't have to worry about and can take to class to take notes on. There are some with full keyboards and decent screens with 6 hour battery life. These only run at ca $400. My main question is this: What do you actually use your laptop for (school wise). Will I be sitting staring at the screen all day. I ask this because everyone is always talking about the notes and power points etc. So, is a netbook a bad idea as a secondary comp, or should I stop whining and spend 1300 on a new macbook? |

I think you should just go with what you have for now. In june it is rumored that apple will release a net book of their own.
I have a unibody 15 macbook pro and i am in the same boat. the computer is a little too big to take around. I am looking at netbooks. If apple doesn't release one in june i'll get a hp mini 1000 |
