Cincinnati is the second biggest hub in the nation for Delta after Atlanta... lots of traffic going through their airport (which is located in Kentucky!!)

Money in Saba...
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew the easiest way to pay in Saba. A friend of mine used Traveller's checks...
What about the cost of items on Saba? If anyone had a general idea of how much is sufficient for living in the dorm with a meal plan at a local restaurant, please let me know. If not Traveller's checks, then cash? Thanks again... |

That said, you can use a visa check card, mastercard, visa, travelers checks can be cashed at the banks. The meal plan info and living costsf you can find with a search.

Travel eh? Then Mark is the man to ask
There is a travel agent on SABA who gets pretty good deals sometimes... ask Mark at the Big Rock what her phone number is... I don't remember, and I don't want to give out info that is incorrect and end up having 200 students calling some poor elderly woman about providing travel services... lol... so ask Mark... go harass him... and tell him Val sent u, and that I say hi, and I miss him....

upstate ny
I haven't been accepted [yet], but I've been on winter break, and tried to look up the best fare route from my area (Upstate NY).
For me, it was to fly from Syracuse to San Juan on JetBlue, ranging $75-$119 one-way, and then fly on Liat or Caribbean Sun from San Juan to SXM for about $100-$120 one-way. This comes to a grand total of $175-$239 one way. Not TOO shabby, if you ask me. I think if one flies from JFK, the trip to San Juan can be as low as $65 one-way, and then with the $100-$120 that makes it about $165-$240 one way.

NEVER AGAIN ON LIAT... OVER MY DEAD BODY
Don't fly with LIAT!!!!!! I have flown with them twice, and both times it was horrid. The one time they got me to SJU (San Juan) 5 hours late, and then claimed that it wasn't their fault (even though it was cause they left Tortola late by 5 hours, and NO there wasn't any problem with the plane or weather, they just took their time) and that they won't do anything about helping me with my connecting flights. All I have to say is thank god for American Airlines, cause they didn't even ask why I came to the flight 3 hours after it departed. Ahhhhhh.... the caribbean....
