Can those who graduate from SABA get licensed in CA?

I was reading other forums and they were talking about which states they can get licensed in, Can SABA grads be licensed in Cali?

technically they can (google 'saba california acrediation' or something along those lines, and read the full review-- this review is what made me apply to Saba).

I do believe that california is a very competitive state, so you might be at a disadvantage for a foreign IMG.

Competitive probably wasn't the best word, sorry.

I meant that, in general, California has different guidelines for licensing than the other states. I know that a LOT of medical schools are licensed in some states, but not California. If anyone has been all around the US like I have, it's no question why California would hold higher standards (it is the best part of the US in my opinion).

Do you guys agree, or am i way off?

    Netherlands Antilles

    • Saba University School of Medicine (coursework from 1/1/02 to present)
    From Medical Board of California.

So, yes, Saba students can apply for license in California, if coursework fall in the above dates.

But as our clinical coordinator was explaining...the dates get all screwed up when applying for the proper paperwork and as of now, you fall a year behind trying to make it work. So it's not as straightforward as it looks.
