Dear Raj Patel Re. your application to Saba
I guarantee that your application for whatever reason was misplaced or not received. Saba is absolutely on the ball when it comes to responding whether it be for an interview or with the fact that you dont meet their criteria. Please call the Gardner office and find out the status of your application. I will share this story with you, before I took the position with Mayo I had ERAS'd my application to the hospital in my hometown in NJ. If Mayo had not taken me I probably would have went there. For months the program prior to the ERAS application season pretty much guaranteed me a spot sinced I had faxed them out letters and board scores way prior to sending out the residency application. They were falling over me. I ERAS'd the application and never heard BOO about an interview from them. Once I signed the prematch contract with Mayo I called the program in question and asked why NO interview just because it was driving me crazy. Mind you this program was nothing special but it was close to me in NJ and by the way never ever fills up until the scramble. Do you beleive after two years of phone communication , even though they downloaded the ERAS application, they lost it and forgot about me. They were falling all over themselves trying to apologize and could not beleive that my application had slipped thru the cracks. Of course it was too late but I had to know. So what Im saying is call them, things happen and it may have ended up under a pile of paperwork. These things happen. Best of Luck, Scott Jones MD DC

to clarify
it's not that i have heard nothing. sometimes i call and am told they need this or that, and at this time, i have been told my file is complete though when i called to re-confirm the lady said "i want to say yes". exact words. well, i really just want to her to say what is factually correct and moreover she had earlier told me that they send a postcard when the file is complete and i have not received any despite being told two wks ago that my file is complete. not a card, and not any correspondence at any time. i don't quite why the big 3 send so much mail and saba does not. and like i said, i think the least i deserve for my fifty bucks is a speedy rejection letter at the minimum. that is the minimal courtesy they should provide for that app fee.

raj, just curious what are your credentials Gpa etc.
the only thing i can think of is that the sememster you are applying for is competitive and you are right on the cusp of getting admitted for a particular semester but they are waiting to hear back from other candidates first to see if they are going to attend. So perhaps they just dont want to reject you when in fact you are still being considered. Frustrating I understand, but beleive me its not that they are disorganized or lazy, they are on the ball. Scott
