Will I get dorm if I reach 5 days earlier

I am planning to start in September 08

Can I reach Saba and stay in dorm few days before the registration day

If registration is on 1st september, can I reach Saba on 24th and stay in dorm? Is there extra fee if i reach 5days earlier and stay in any dorm.

I was wondering how earlier before semester we can get into res too. I emailed the housing director about it a couple days ago, but no response yet. If I don't hear back soon, I'll probably call them up. In the meantime, does anyone out there have a ballpark figure?

Cheers.

Bump

Just wondering if anyone knew the answer to this?

As well, I don't plan on paying full tuition until the last days before the deadline. Would this affect your choice in dorms? I submitted my questionnaire forms awhile ago.

For Hillside anyway, you can usually move in up to a week before school starts. Just make sure to let the school know. Matthews might be a different story, not sure.

As far as tuition, it's advisable to pay it as soon as you can if you want assurance of your housing. They prob don't want to risk prematurely assigining you housing and then you not paying tuition.

I received a reply from housing saying that a week or less is fine and that a taxi will take you to your dorm for free

Heh, yea I got one of those 'free taxi' vouchers in my package. I tried using it a few weeks ago in Canada, but they kept on insulting me and driving away. Strange.

Its easier to get run over by a cab in Calgary than actually catch one.
I know you guys really want to start medical school and explore the island, but if you show up a week early, you will be so bored you will start chasing the goats for kicks.
