describe a typical day on Saba ...

Dear Saba students,

This is kinda weird, but I would appreciate it if you could describe a typical day of your student life on Saba here very briefly... (sense of humour is necessary)

again, sorry for the weird question...

Cheers,

I've posted a study schedule based on my experiences in first semester - you can search for that. I'm off island now - just finished my 5th semester, but I don't think much has changed since then.

But generally, here's a schedule:

1. Get up at 6:45 to get showered and ready to leave the house by 7:30 for class.
2. Drive to school. Pick up people on way. Get stuck behind garbage truck for 3 minutes.
3. Get stuck behind locals chitchatting in their cars for 45 seconds.
4. Get to first class, get my stuff organized. Buy coffee and/or drinks. Go to class for 8am.
5. Break from first class. Gossip.
6. Second class.
7. Break from second class. Gossip.
8. Lunch
9. Third class
10. Break from third class. Gossip.
11. Leave school.
12. Almost hit goat with my car.
13. Stop by Winwardside for errands. (Big Rock - 10% of on Wed - my big grocery day, ATM, GNC, ICS, etc etc etc)
14. Home
15. Sit on deck and relax for a few mins.
16. Print off notes for studying that evening.
17. Start studying
18. Dinner + TV (If Tues and it's after blocks: SWINING DOORS or ECOLODGE! If it's Mon after blocks: BRIGADOON!
19. Study
20. BED
21. Wake up next morning and do the same thing all over again!

INSERTS:
Beach time and snorkeling on weekends after blocks
Midway Party
Pot lucks
Open mic
Various school related activities
Grand Rounds after classes
etc
etc

Hmm...you may be right I don't know... what I do know is that the alumni I've met in rotations seem smarter and tougher than me, particularly when I get pimped by them!
