I had the same question, and I dont think the cell phone works at all. i think the Island has its own cell phone company from what I heard and you can get their cell phone, but I guess most people just use PC-Connect or just home phone lines. But if anyone has a definit answer that would be great. because I have verizon as well and would like to be able to bring my cell phone on the island for occasional phone calls

Your cell phone will not work. There are no towers on Saba, except for maybe their own. I would suggest getting a home phone and/or internet. We used to use Skype to call through the internet, all you need is the program and a USB headset to plug into your computer. It's not always the clearest, but it's very cheap per minute.

Thanks Jlea, I took your advice an got a unlocked quad-band phone. Only, I got it at comp USA. They are going out of business so they were having hugh sales on all there stuff. I saved like 200 dollars on the unlocked phone.
