Contemplating applying to SABA

quick question for everyone, i live in texas and want to practice here. is it possible to get a license in texas after graduating from SABA? i'm sorry if this question has been asked before, but I am fairly new at giving Caribbean schools a serious consideration.

and if it is possible, what steps do I need to take to make this happen?

If you want Texas think about Ross.

Texas considers each person on an individual basis. From what I've heard, it depends on:
1) Board scores
2) Personal experience
3) Reputation in clinical rotations
4) Who you know

The worst case scenario, I think, would be you having to become licensed in another state first, work for a little while, and then apply to practice in Texas.

If you're dead set on Texas and don't want to chance it, then Ross is the place for you.

Ask Saba officials how many grads are practicing in Cali and Texas. I only know of 2-3. I hear there so many hoops that its not even worth it. These two states are very unfriendly to IMG's. Only reason Ross grads don't have any problem in Texas is because a few years ago Ross sued the Texas medical board and proved that Ross is just as good as any Texas med school. The case was later dropped but the Texas medical board never screwed with Ross grads again. I guess that process took alot of cash and time. I'm surprised SGU hasn't done any action like that because clearly SGU is better than Ross.

because sgu (and auc and uag) don't have to....six months after the tmb put ross on the equivancy list, they put sgu, auc, and uag on it too. So sgu, auc, and uag are on the same footing as ross when it comes to texas.
