i dont know how that is good or bad news in any way shape or form really. But Im surprised ross is so low. Saba has always had a small class size and hasn't been around as long. Perhaps its the Canadian bit.

Where's AUC? There have to be more Canadians at AUC than Statia.

would you guys recommend me to take the MCAT and apply for St. George?

Do you think that he amount of time/money that I'll have to spend on the MCAT is not worth it because the difference between St. George & Saba = minute.

Or is the difference significant enough that I should take the MCAT and apply for St. George.

If I'm reading correctly, the table represents the number of Canadian students that responded to the servey, not the total number of Canadian students attending each school as your title suggests.

Thumbs up Nice point...

ReckonerMD,

Already on your way to properly analyzing research studies thrown your way... great job!

Excerpt from above mentioned study...

Quote:
This study identified 13 schools outside of Canada and the U.S. where Canadians were studying
medicine. Each school was contacted and asked to distribute a student survey to their Canadian
students, and to complete a school survey. Seven of the 13 (54%) schools completed the survey.
Six of the 13 schools distributed the survey to the students, but did not complete the schools
survey. Therefore, although the outcome of this project was to be an estimate of the potential
workforce of Canadian students graduating each year, we are still unable to accurately determine
this number but we were able to determine conclusively that it is larger than the 400 students we
originally anticipated.

I think that anyone would acknowledge that SGU has the strongest rep in the Caribbean. If you are looking at a competitive residency you would be giving yourself a leg up by going to SGU. SGU also has Stafford loans, I don't think that Saba does. Didn't Saba recently lose a major lender? Perhaps a current student can confirm this for you. All the best if you decide to write the mcat.
