advice

Hello, My name is Joseph. I am a graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana (B.S.pre-med Biology/Chemistry) and also a graduate of Tulane University School of Public Health (M.S.P.H, Tropical Medicine, Parasitology). The reason for this post is to meet current students and alumni's of Saba. I am interested in attending Saba in Sept. 2004 and would like to get the opportunity to communicate with individuals' in a place where my goal are. I would greatly appreciate if one could e-mail me and help advise me on decision making. Other options of caribbean medical schools were SGU(too expensive), AUC, and SMU(highly considering). I can be reached at jsemien@tulane.edu

Thank You,

Joe (jsemien@tulane.edu)

Hey...

Hey, I think you should take a more proactive approach. Here's my best advice, and what I did before I applied to SUSOM's September 2004 class.

Go to SABA's homepage and look at the "Residency/Alumni" section. Many of them have their email addresses listed. Compose a friendly, generic letter with your intentions and questions and send it to them individually. (Doing it one at a time makes it more personal. Some will not respond if sent a large chain letter.)

Personally, I received about 30 responses and a wealth of information and insight. Good luck.
