    How fast does UPS ship?

Hey everyone, I had an important letter sent last week via UPS at the fastest option, not sure what that is. According to who sent it, it should have been here friday or monday but wondering if anyone else had their mail sent via UPS to saba which arrives at ICS and how long it took from mailing to reception or if they had any problems with it?

    Thank you

i had something shipped thru usps and that was about a week and a half.

friend has had fed ex shipments that took less than a week. but those were large containers that cost hundreds of dollars to ship.

If it was sent to Saba via UPS international "overnight," it should take 3 days (not including weekends).

A UPS international "overnight" package doesn't take 10 days to get here from MIA. That is how long it takes to get here via the ship that ICS uses to send your mail and packages from its receiving site in MIA.

    FedEx is more reliable, though.

If the shipper has a tracking number, you can track it at UPS Global Home.

If it doesn't get here by the time to which they committed, the shipper can get his or her money back.

When you ship to Saba through the ICS US Mailing address (In Miama), it is only guaranteed to get TO MIAMI in the 2-day, 3-day, overnight, or whichever option you have selected. Every 2 weeks or so, (I'm not sure on the exact time line), all the mail that has arrived at the Miami post office box is shipped over to Saba. UPS has nothing to do with the mail from Florida to Saba, their job ends when it gets to Miami. So any tracking number would just say it's been delivered, but that doesn't mean it's in Saba, there isn't a way to track the shipping from Miama-Saba.
I remember it took 2-3 weeks to get mail through the mailing address, from the sender to the recipient.

Then only other way I would suggest to send something to Saba is through FedEx. FedEx has their own planes and they aren't relying on anyone else. We've shipped something in as little as 2 days before. Expensive, but reliable.

I'd like to add a warning along with this good information. Do NOT use DHL or allow a vendor to send something to you via DHL. For a supposed worldwide company they apparently have no idea where Saba is nor a willingness to learn. I ordered a laptop from Dell and they refused to send it other than by DHL even when I offered to pay for FedEx to deliver it. Well, the computer bounced around between Curacao and Barbados and Venezuela (twice) and finally to Trinidad, where it disappeared forever. Dell was HORRIBLE the whole time, by the way. Another person ordered a Dell and thanks to DHL it bounced around between islands before someone called him from Puerto Rico and asked when he was going to come pick his package up!

Avoid DHL at all costs and avoid Dell while you're at it.

Experienced is totally correct on this one.. While living on the island, I had to order a replacement power cord for my Roland Drum Machine... Despite instructions, it was sent DHL. Two weeks later the cord arrived at my parent's address 100 miles from the original shipping location.

    Avoid DHL..

    Hate to pile on.....but

I too had horrible experience with DHL. The story is much too long for a post but the end result was apparently the same as everyone else's!!!! Horrible customer service!! On a posotive note, I was never disappointed with the service that *******-Free shipping provided.

    Fed Ex

I had great experiences with Fed Ex several years ago. It will cost you, but everything I sent Fed Ex got to Saba within 3 days. Do be warned that everything ultimatley ends up on a Winair plane. Fed Ex does not fly over to Saba. They contract out with Winair to send packages. That being said, I still never had an issue.
