Is it possible to request an extended deposit deadline

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to get in at SGU for Jan 08. I had my SGU interview a few days ago but I have since received an accpetance letter from another Carib school. The problem is I have t give this 2nd school a non-refundable deposit within the next few days. Do you guys think I can request an extended deposit deadline from this school? If so how should I go about it? What reason should I give the school? Please help.

Thanks.

Assuming this "other Carib school" is Saba, call the Gardner office and explain your situation truthfully. Although it seems unlikely they will grant this to you on the basis of awaiting a decision on another school (this is probably why they ask for the deposits so soon), the only other option I see would be to asking them to defer your acceptance for another semester and see if they will allow you to extend your deposit date.

Hello Acetylcholine....
I was in the same boat about ten days ago. I asked for an extension and was told that it is too late now since the tuition payment is due on Nov 15th. Besides, even if you get an extension it is going to be a week or ten days the most, with that being said, that will not be enough time for SGU to make a final decision. My advice, TAKE SABA and you will not regret it. Good Luck.
