Just got accepted for fall 08 semester. was wondering if you folks know any other med school loan options other than TERI? My credit is good now, but have had bad troubles in the past (3yrs ago)..
As far as I read from IEFC website, they only look at past 24 months worth credit history to determine your eligibility plus the employment and residency info. correct me if I am wrong but I think SABA needs to figure an alternative loan option for its students quick.

BTW: Why did SABA loose healthxpress while AUA was not affected at all? Doesnt Saba have a better and longer "credit history" itself?

Got accepted for Sep 08. Was wondering about cost of Room/Board $5200 per semester in new COA for 2008. Is it that expensive to live?
Stats: PCBM GPA: 3.87, Cumm GPA 3.5, MCAT PS10 BS10 VR4 N. Tons of clinical and volunteers experiences.

235 HOURS OF VOLUNTEER SERVICES AT THE ER.
AND ( WELL SOON TO BE ) 4.0 GPA in premed at MUA.
I CALLED SABA AND I TOLD THEM ILL BE TAKING PRE MED 1 AND PREMED 2 AT MUA AND I WOULD LIKE TO GO TO SABA''S MED SCHOOL IN SEPT 08. THEY SAID JUST APPLY IN MAY AND I HAVE A GOOD CHANCE...

Hey everyone! Congratulations on making it in My husband just got his acceptance package (after only 3 days!!) and looks like we'll be making the journey from Chicago. It feels like I'm the one enrolled b/c I've been scouring this site looking for videos & pictures; trying to get an idea of what to expect and what not. Who knows, I may get my master's while we're there.
