I just called them for an interview and got one for this week! They had a cancellation. And they said they still have a few seats available for September!

Like you, I found out I got an interview offer on Friday the 11th and decided to call today (Monday the 14th). I, however, called about 30 mins ago and got a mid-May interview like tiger15lily.

Was actually hoping it would be somewhat soonish but I did not express that to the person I spoke with.

I was wondering if this was a bad thing and if I should try and call again and express an interest in being interviewed earlier if there were to be a cancellation? I guess you could say I am looking for peace of mind and mid-May seems so far away and after my experience with American Medical schools I learned the important lesson of the early bird catches the worm.

Should I call again and ask to be informed if there is an earlier opening? Or should I just stick it out and do my interview in May? Thanks!

I also had the Friday email and called for an interview today. The pleasant voice said mid-May was early and while they are getting lots of calls to bump forward interviews, there just really isn't much possibility. I was told September still has several spots and not to worry about having a mid-May interview. Hope this helps

Notification of acceptance.

I was just wondering for those of you who have been accepted. Does the school send you an acceptance letter or do they call you? Any info would be great.

Thanks

Ty

Ya the lady said if I could not do Friday then I would have to wait till May. I guess if theres no more availabilities May interview is fine since there are still spaces for Septmeber
I want to find out if I would be accepted because I feel September is not so far away...For all those accepted, have you started any preparations??? I hope I dont sound too eager....but I mean, any planning going on or is it too early??
Im pretty nervous for the interview, I have two exams this week...pretty hectic

Pfft...I sure as hell haven't started preps. I still have exams to write (I want to finish my BSc in Physiology, but SABA sent me a nice shiny certificate with "unconditional acceptance" written all over it, so I am having a hard tiem finding motivation to study macro and cellular gastric physiology).

Oh the horror!

In summary, don't worry, September is still far away.

Hey Pilot4life, i'm in the same boat as you. Did they tell u to hand in your transcripts after your exams or not? Because if it is unconditional,it doesn't matter if they receive the final transcript or not. Well, see ya in sept.

No, they didn't say anything along those lines...but I'll email them to ask just in case. I'll let you know what they say.

ALL CALL: So, is there some sort of social networking group started for sep '08 students? We might as well start getting to know each other in forms other than our avatars? Let me know

Cheers, and see you in the skies.
