Thread: mailed out app... now what?

This may be a silly question but I recently mailed out my application (Aug. 27) for Jan. 08 start date...
How long do we have to wait before we hear something back from the school?
I already had my MCAT score and my transcripts sent to the school before mailing out my app and included copies of the transcripts with the application.

The waiting game is starting to get to me... I need to know if its a nay or a ye

Well, it usually takes about 1 week (sometimes less) for them to contact you for an interview after they have received all your information. Give them some time. They will probably get back to you within the week. You can also call to confirm that they have received all the stuff you sent them just in case something got lost in the mail. I know the waiting game sucks but wait you must...good luck! Ciao.

When I applied, they contacted me within a week or so. Why don't you call and ask if they received all your material? That way you kind of feel in control, which is what you need right now.

they called me after two weeks or so...no worries, maybe because of the number of applications, its taking long....

So true though when iwas applying to canadian schools it was months, and then i got waitlisted which meant an Entire summer of waiting.

I just sent out my application today. Is it too late for me to have a chance for Jan 08?

I hope not! I'm hoping to make it in by Jan 08 and haven't had my interview yet.
