Thread: 6th Semester Tuition

Assumption:

Student has successfully graduated from Basic Science in April / 08
Student decides to write Step 1 in July and start Psych rotation prior to receiving score.

a) When does the student pay his/her tuition for 6th semester clinicals? Are they responsible for paying at the conclusion of 5th before starting the rotation?

b) If the student (Canadian / Ontario) has applied to OSAP and is not commencing with a clinical rotation directly after finishing 5th, does this qualify as a 52 week study period? i.e. September 07 - August 08...

the school will send out your next tuition payment in the same fashion as usual.. the story is that you only pay for 10 semesters unless you want to do more than the required number of rotations.. for example, if you were taking an entire semester off to study for step 1, you would still get a tuition bill.. sorry I can't help with the Canada question..

You pay tuition for a whole term off?

Take this example.. I finished in August.. I started my first clinical rotation in Oct. However, I paid for that semester's tuition in like late July or early August at the normal tuition date.. What I mean to say is that I didn't wait until Oct. to pay.. You only pay a total of 10 semesters..
