Thanks, Steph. I'm continuously dismayed at how many people in this generation do not understand that downloading movies, etc without buying them is THEFT. When you do so, you steal from the artist/creator and you are a THIEF. A thief and a physician? See any contradiction??

I really dont see any contradiction. Youre silly. Maybe a thief and a policeman, but not a thief and a physician. Maybe a physician and a murderer or a rapist trying to spread infectious diseases.

michael moore doesnt really care much for copyright infringements. there was a youtube clip where he said downloading 'illegaly' is like sharing media with your friends...i.e. if I buy a copy of Moore's film, and 'share' it with 50 of my friends, its pretty much the same as downloading online, as those 50 people that i shared with arent paying to watch the movie...

i would be careful about other works though...

there is no arguement to be had about it other than the academic pleasure you may get out of it. Its is not legal ergo you can't do it on this site.
