whats the avg stats of students getting into SABA?
GPA, MCAT scores?

34 MCATs, 3.65 GPA, science 3.8

I had 3.5GPA (Canadian scale), don't know how much it is in American scale and a god awful MCAT score and was accepted for sept 07

34 mcat!? that is impressive by any schools standards. Is that an average or your stats?

yea 34 is pretty good. were you slacking off on the volunteering? lolz.

I'm guessing he was joking because 34 is on the borderline to acceptance to Harvard Med(35+) and other Ivy's although the GPA is below average.

naw i dont think he was joking. i can definetly see people with that score ending up on saba due to lack of extracurricular activities.

But, imo, someone who wants to go to Med School would at least try to capitalize on EC activities such as at a local hospital or nursing home but I can see why some wouldn't because they are more unbalanced as far as grades go etc.
