I would like to get some more student feedback in regard to the advantages and disadvantages of these two schools. I read alot about AUC vs. SABA but none about SMU vs. SABA.

I realize that neither SABA nor SMU are among the supposed "Top-Three" but they represent the top of the second tier. I know some of the basic differences. Obviously, the island life at SMU is far better than that at SABA but it also costs more to go there in terms of tuition and living expenses (the difference is not huge though and will not be a primary factor in my decision). I think SABA has been around a little bit longer and might have a better reputation but it looks as if SMU really has its act together. I was impressed with how modern and highly equipped the school is. Clinical sites also seem impressive.

I think Saba is better because it has NY approval, and the class size is smaller. Saba uses real cadevars whereas SMU uses plasticized cadevars.

I recall SABA has a computer lab, does SMU have a computer lab? SABA also has good facilities.

SABA students recently has obtained some very impressive Step I scores, posted from the school website, that tells you sth about the quality of their education. Not sure about SMU.
