*cricket chirp*
what's happening over there? working you guys to death? no time to feed us soon-to-be Saba med students a few crumbs about your daily lives? even the new moderator appears to be as missing-in-action as the last one -- good old ResearchingGuy. come on, Sabanites. take a second or two out of your busy day to remember what it was like before you starting studying & partying all day/night long. anything. please! |

Come on Breezee. i see you lurking. you're in clinicals now, right? how 'bout throwing us a bone about your day today on the wards? good day? bad day? maybe just the same ol' routine of saving lives and stamping out diseases? probably gets old afterwhile, but it'd be great to hear a story or two.

I'm back....
Yea, I was a little MIA there for a while, but this semester seems to be going a bit smoother, so I can once again not study and focus on valuemd. My roommate has gotten himself a lady friend, so that leave me with alot of free time to goof of on here as well. That, and he was one of my main partners in crime, so i haven't put myself in any situations that have warranted funny stories lately. I have lost 15 pounds since the start of the semester. Motorcycle accident + roommate that loves bacon + own love of ice cream = fat ****. I was knocking on 200 pounds over break with mom's home cooking. That and the constant ridicule from my brothers made me get back into the gym. Now that I have this bronze statuesque body, I can once again throw it around and hurt myself..... which results in funny stories. I took MADMD on a hike up the hill called "the whale" above the bottom last week. It's 45 minutes up and 20 down in healthy Nate time, but going on 2 1/2 hours later in total darkness and rain I rolled into the Bottom with a fairly pissed off hiker. How was I supposed to know she was scared of rock climbing and that my knee still wasn't 100%. I happened to leave that part out in the brief explanation of what we were going to do after school. Several times she stated that she was going to either a) die, b) kill me, or c) kill me and then die....
In other goings on.... Open mic night was last week, not alot showed, but it was a very enthusiastic crowd. We even got 6 first sems up there and one even played, so I'm pretty happy about that. We lost our blues frontman to a couple days of heavy rain and cancelled winair flights though. I'll try and stir up some fun. Maybe I'll throw a land crab in my roommates bus tonight and watch the hilarity ensue on the ride to school.
