Thank you for sharing your stories! It is so helpful and reassuring to read what you all experienced through the application process. I am now extremely nervous. I really hope to be accepted at SABA!

I just had my interview today, and I have no idea whether they will accept me or not. My undergraduate GPA was just a 3.1, but my MCAT score was a 32, so it made sense that they asked about my grades and the discrepancy between them and my score. I got really nervous, though, when they said that the only reason they even considered the interview was because of my MCAT score. Do you think it will be enough to counteract my mediocre GPA? Hopefully they'll weigh in that I've worked throughout school. We didn't get a chance to talk much about my job (and life!) working with people who have Autism, so do you think that's a bad sign? Did any of you get an indication during your interview of whether or not they would accept you? Although it's no longer in my control, I think I'll still worry until I hear from them. On another note, I have another professor who would like to send a letter of recommendation for me. Does SABA welcome or discourage additional letters?

I know it's easier to say than do, but try to not worry about it!! I was so stressed after my interview, because I felt they hated me and would never accept me! Five days later, I got my acceptance I had the opposite scenario, good grades, but crappy mcat. They kept on be about that also, and I felt when I hung up, they had the complete wrong impression of me. Just be happy the interview is over, and just see what happens! Good luck to you

They asked me which month, and I assumed that my only options at this point were January and September, but they asked if May was my first choice, so I said that if possible, May would not be too early for me! If may is full, and September is more competitive, will they still consider me for January?

Thank you so much for your reply! I will try not to worry about it, but I got the same feeling about their impression of me. I really hope it turns out well, like with you. I'll keep you posted!

time between application and interview

Hi sarah, dont worry, ur credentials look good and im sure u will get the admission.
btw,cud u tell me when did u send in ur documents, how long did it take them to process it and interview u.From what i see,if they asked u if ur interested for the may semester, they might have already made up their mind of taking u.

Hello! Here is an update. I have received my application package! Thank you for your encouragement! It was so reassuring during a stressful time. To answer your query, once my application was complete, it was a matter of just a few days before they requested the interview, but I suppose it depends on many factors, such as how much mail they received in a particular day.
