Gardner asked me to take the MCAT.
It isn't possible to register to take the MCAT in 2007 anymore. I'm not going to be able to take the MCAT until after January. That will push my start date back at least until May. It might push my start date back to Sept due to the overlap of the spring semester here and the summer semester at Saba. It just seams like a total waist of my time to take the MCAT. This is especially true when Saba is admitting people with MCAT scores as low as 17. What a bummer... Have any of you had any luck making an appeal to the Gardner office? good interview tips
Hey guys,
Well i just wanna help all those who have not yet taken their interview.... This is what you should do(i think) to be on top of their accpetance list: KNow the school, island, and reason why u chose saba....also(IMP.).....tell them about the school like no crime, safety, good Hx....bla bla....before them asking you anthing about it ....casue u know its coming from them soon.... and that way it seems like you are excited about all this and really lookin into it ....mention eveything u did to find out about the school... tell them u know what u r gettin into and life is not goin to be easy .....this is important....dont say that i will be homesick ....DONTTT.... any more questions let me know.... thats the gist of it .....wish u all the best and hope that some of you will soon be my follow classmates..... all the best and yea....no matter wat ur stats are jus apply....u know u r special in someway ...and make them see that.... |

hmmm ... i see what you are saying and that there are many great points regarding the interview however, i do not see why people should hide things about themselves. if they'll get homesick, which is natural, then say so. i went through my interview being as honest as i can. In life, I rather be rejected because I was being myself than trying to be someone else. There's no need to suck up too much ... Saba is a second-chance for-profit school ... they want you more than you want them. But hey, it gives you that opportunity right? Just be yourself |
