How are exams at SABA? Are they block exams, where you take everything the same week or are they spread out where you only take one subject per week?

You have 5 blocks set up for the semester. Whatever material you cover from first day of class in histology and Anatomy/embryology (with a question liket his im assuming you are first semester) til the end of first block will be asked on the first block exam and so on and so on. The exams are computer based like the USMLE in a separate testing lab. Each block is roughly 3-4 weeks I believe but the schedule for each semester is available online.

Where online is the schedule? I am having trouble finding it. Please give me a link or directions to it.

if you check out sabamed.org you will see that yes, you have to sign in as a student for the major information such as Fall semester calendar, however, there are some files you can view without having an ID. One such area, is the courses. From there, you can view the syllabi of any semester classes and the syallbus of a class should indicate the test dates, and the class schedule. In addition, the syllabus should give you a good idea of what sections are being covered, and at what speed, so def. check it out!

In fact, I checked the syllabus for medical psychology, and it states that a grade may depedent on a student having in their possesion all the required books. Is this accurate or does the professor put that statement in the syllabus to scare all the students into actually reading the books? I know in first semester they never even checked to see what books we purchased, so I was just curious if the psych professor actually checked!

Mostly scare. It's good to have the books to read, some of the questions come from Cole & Bird and aren't in the slides, but Kaplan and Saddock is somewhat redundant, and Zimmerman is handy and cheap, but you can't really study it. K&S is a necessary book for your psych rotation, however.
