A quick suggestion...
I keep meaning to put together a list of all the things that I would recommend people bring that I didn't...alas, I have no time.
So, 2 things you should consider bringing: 1 GB flash drive (2 GB if you can find a reasonably priced one) and a flashlight.
I know the website says something like 256 MB is enough but my class (1st semester) has been videoing many of the lectures and if the resolution is high, it's easy to spill over 1 GB for a 90 minute lecture. So, if your class intends to digitally video lecture, dissections, etc., it'll be handy if you have a large capacity thumb drive. iPods are great as well since they can handle multiple Gigs of info. This isn't a must but will make your life easier since you won't have to rely on others to transfer data for you (should you have large files like these).
The flashlight is for getting around on campus after dark. The school has not determined the necessity of placing lights in the parking lot. So, those living in the dorms will need the flashlights to find their way home and those living off campus will need them to find their way to their car.
Just suggestions...they're worth what you paid for 'em.
Feel free to PM me with any questions you may have, especially the family types. Having kids on the island is a whole different realm of reality than that experienced by single folk....
