Hey does anyone know of any good housing available near this rotation available early February til roughly end of March? Or is there someone I should contact at the hospital who organizes this stuff for incoming students? Any help would be appreciated

i just completed my 6 week psych rotation in Brentwood hospital in shreveport. If anyone has any questions they can email me but here is a quick breakdown of my experience that i thought pertinent.

I usually had to wake up early to be at the hospital by 630, did rounds and stuff and got out around 11 am. On Mondays and Thursdays I had to go back at 1 or 130 to work with my attending in a private practice he had set up near the hospital which while was extra work others didnt do I found it to be great practice for talking to patients and doing interviews and cmon, its not that bad. The hospital has free meals, i found housing at University Plaza which is a dorm by LSU Shreveport campus which was very convenient and the program coordinator helps you find housing as well. Overall, very relaxing and educational, definitely recommended and if you have more questions feel free to PM me.
