experience at Michael Reese for OB/Gyne
Excellent experience! you may not have a large patient load but a smaller patient load lets you learn more. Excellent knowledge base of the physicians and they take time and interest to teach you.
Calls are 24 hour and usually Q4 [depending on number of students available]. You will have to prepare and present about 4 powerpoint presentation of variety of topics during ur 6 weeks there. Hospital Exam on the last day of ur rotation. It is tough. Start doing questions at the end of the Blueprints book from day one. Yeah, they say the hospital in gonna close in the next few months. The IM residents are already being placed at other hospitals. Anymore questions u can pm me. |
