Thread: living in russia

hi all
i will be joining tver for md program. and i wanted know what all things would i need while staying there.
is it a good option to buy a laptop from there as it would have Russian windows and Russian keyboard or to take from India itself???

Buy a keyboard in Russia and plug into your laptop or buy a sticker set off ebay to go onto your current laptops keyboard. Setup Russian support on your current laptop as well.

What about to bring a gun in a case you will see bears on the streets?! "

I think living in Russia is nice because Russia has a rich history and cultural heritage and this is reflected in its museums, architecture and monuments.
Russia is a country that is making significant economic progress and this is reflected in the amount of western businesses that are establishing a presence in the region.

I am going to VSMU next week, and I sure hope that it is nice.

I heard about the Russian mafia in some cities ( ?Leningrad & Moscow?) and a few medical students were killed a few years ago. Is it true?
