information on ross

If someone could just give me some information about Ross University and the island, it would be great. I am planning on applying, but would like to know the differences between Ross and St. George's Veterinary.
Any information would be helpful!
Thanks

Which?

If you are referring to the verterinary school, you really won't find much information here. Neither will you find many vet students here posting. However, please understand that if you want a good education ALWAYS consider the academics your highest priority THEN consider the island. You are not out for a vacation, you are trying to learn.

I would not be going to a school only b/c of its location. However, if i'm planning on spending quite a while there it would be nice to know about where I would be staying (especially if it is far from home). Since I've tried to educate myself about the school through the website and other places, i was hoping someone could help me out about nevis.
I didn't think that was too much to ask for.

Nope

No, I agree. It wasn't too much to ask for, I was just making a generalized comment.

As I stated before, there are few (if ANY) Ross vet students which frequent this medical forum. Since the Ross University vet school and medical school are on two different islands, few (if any) can tell you anything about living or studying on St. Kitts/Nevis. However, I have heard that it is a very nice island with some very nice resorts.

I don't think that information about resorts on the island will really help me make a decision on choosing the school.
I apologize for being unclear. What I meant to ask was living conditions of dorms, internet access, people on the island, etc.

clear

I don't know how much more clear I can make this: NOBODY here knows detailed information about St. Kitts since we've never been there.

However, you can see photos of the new dorm on the Ross University vet school website. They look great.

Yes, they have people on the island and internet access too

I'm not really certain how the Ross Vet Thread came to be here. The Ross Forum was generally recognized as being for the Ross University School of Medicine, and we've never really recognized the vet students here on the forum. I am referring the matter to our administrator to see if they should perhaps have their own forum, since the Ross Med student forum knows nothing about the Vet school or the island that it is located. I can tell you from personal vacation experience that St. Kitts is an OK island, but a little higer for crimes. I know a Ross vet student was murdered there, but that shouldn't condem the island or the school.

How do you even reply to that?
