I have recently put my deposit down for the MERP program starting this August, and I was wondering who else is joining me this fall! Maybe we can even start a Facebook group soon, once we have enough people of course...

That's what I have already arranged to do for books, a phone, a sim card, and a bike.

Hello I am a current student of MERP. I would recommend not to buy textbooks just yet. Students from previous MERP sessions sell their books for a huge bargain and often include cell phones, sim cards, etc for free (which are BTW quite expensive). Plus you will not have to carry your books in your luggage which may take upto 10-15 lbs. People usually just leave the books in the lockers for incoming students and that way you can secure a locker for yourself too! Let me know if you have any other questions

Hey what's up everyone. I called the housing people today because I'm trying to figure out when to fly in but since I don't have the housing info yet, I'm having some trouble. My issue is if I fly in on the 30th or 31st of July, would my rent start that day or would I have to wait till the first of August to move in. Obviously this is something I'd talk to the landlord about but if any one has any insight about this, I'd really appreciate some help. Much appreciated.
