Those maps are very helpful, thanks. Looking at the map, it looks as if Lizard trail is where I want to look if I want to be as close to the water as possible, is this correct? Im an avid swimmer and am hoping to get a place close to a swimable part of the coast.

Well, it would be closer than some but the Lizard trail apartments are mostly up (in the photo) near the road. The homes near the water there are mostly private residences.

The apartment closest to the water is the Coconuts Apartments which is on a nice long strecth of beach. I'm not sure I would recommend living there but it is close than ANY other. Picard Beach Cottages come in a close second.

Artvandalay, I need to swim too, since I am a triathlete. I am hesitant to be the only bait in the water for the sharks. Tell me when are you planning to swimm and I will be there. I swim open water with no problem, other than the fear of being bitten by sharks, and don't tell me there is no shark, there is shark everywhere in the world.

Me and some friends swam right off campus and at PBH pier atleast 2-3 times a week. I also dove with cabrits a while back. Never saw any shark. While I share the believe they are everywhere, the locals claim the bay is shark free.
p.s. Mitch and Docdad the maps are great.

I've swam all over Portsmouth and Picard, haven't seen any sharks. While I would not like to become prey to a larger more dangerous creature, I think the greatest threats are the Minis.

While here I have discovered a natural anti-depressant. I will now supply you with a sample dose.

Can anyone whos at Ross now use the above pictures to name (if they know them) the apartments? I think that will help a lot of people either looking for an apartment or trying to figure out how far it is.
