Has anyone heard if Fall 2009 is full yet???

So right now i have a MCAT of 21 O a GPA of 3.2 and a science GPA of 3.0. I also have 2 research publications and have worked for a year as a nurse tech. I was looking to get in to ross in january 2010... is it possible?

So currently I'm trying to apply for the sept 2010 semester (the earlier the better right?) my stats are a 3.0 overall and a 3.0 science with my last year at a 3.3 and my last semester straight A's.... cause of my low gpa I took the MCAT and got a 29Q... 8 in PS... 8 in VR... and a 13 in Bio sci... Also what are the stats that i'll get in after my third uni year? (just finished my second).

I also have a lot of clinical, volunteer and fundraising experiance which rages from hospital work to work with the homeless and disabled. Should I apply and see how it goes?

Best bet is that you'll get MERP. Go look into that. Dig up some old post, it'll explain Merp for you pretty well.

Got all your prereq? If you do u can try applying at Ross and SGU. Which ever give the offer, take it. Check up on the website to see if you have all the req course. Or if you have patient, the last 2 year, bring up the GPA and shoot for US school!

Thanks! I was planning on trying to raise my GPA as well . Unfortunately I went through some stuff in my first year and was an idiot for ignoring school so now I'm kind of suffering haha... but thanks for the advice.

Did you repeat any classes, do you have more than 1 C in your premed science courses...if not probably straight admin

Undergraduate Genetics major GPA 2.6 from ucsd

repeated ochem 1&2, bio-1,calculus, took P-chem got a GPA 3.4

Went to grad school and got a MS in biochemistry GPA 3.7

MCAT score of 30.

i have good ec: internship, research, publication...etc
i really want to get into one of the big 4, what do you guys think? what else should i do?

hey guys, new to the forums here, thought I'd seek some advice about applying to the carribbean medical schools.

I graduated last year, and have been taking some time off to retake the MCAT (got a 22 last year). I will be taking it on July 17th, and I've been averaging 26-28 on my practice tests. I was a biology major with a chem minor, and I had a 3.4 cumulative gpa, and a 3.3 science gpa. I have done over 400 hours in hospital volunteering, 250 in research, and 150 in shadowing m.d. Over the past few weeks I've been looking at applying to med schools in the carribbean, because of my uncertainty that I can get into some allopathic schools. I'm looking at the big 4, and was hoping that some of you could add some advice into what are my chances of getting into any of these schools.


I was wondering that if I apply around August, will I be too late for admission into the january class, or will I be too early for admission into the fall class. Also, should I wait til after my July date is done for a new score, or do I have a chance applying with a 22. Thanks for the help!
