Kootney is about a 7-10 minute walk to campus. Ross also provides a free transport home every half hour starting at 7pm with the last bus leaving at 1am from in fornt of the library.

Kootney is DEFINITELY not a 7-10 min walk unless you are wearing some kind of marathon jet sneakers. It's more like a minimum of 20 min. at top speed, & 30 min. at a leisure pace. The problem with is, you need to decide where to draw the line. Your time is precious, and if you are investing that kind of time ambulating each day, it is subtracted from your study and sleep time. The other issue becomes how willing you are to become drenched in the rainy season. My kid lived at Kootney and moved out before the semester was over...just for these reasons.

If you are referring to Coconut Beach Hotel, it looks nice but I have been informed by the establishment via email that they are closed. Not sure if that means they are out of business or they just don't have any 1 BR places available, but after trying to contact them multiple times for over a week, that is what they told me.

could someone give me some insight into prince rupert suites, is it too far from school? anything bad about it? I am having a hard time finding an apartment big enough for a couple. If anyone could give me some advice, it would be helpful. Thanks.
