Can someone tell me about portsmouth beach hotel? I cannot tell from the pictures on the website if the windows are glass walls with wooden slats or if they are just screens with slats. Any other info on the place would be appreciated also as I have searched this forum and cannot find much recent info on it. Thanks so much!!

I live in the Valena Hill apts , the landlord is a very very nice woman and she is very helpful, I have been living here with my husband since September 2008 and we love it , the landlord is always helping us if we have some trouble in the apt, she even help us to find gas when we couldn't find it for christmas!!! she was very sweet, I think a good landlord it is good if you want to have a nice time in Dominica , the apt is up in the hill and we have a nice view of the sea..

Those would be the apartments above Tina's, I think there's another thread in the non-sticky Ross forum about them.

The walk from Tina's to the Annex really isn't bad at all..maybe 5-8 minutes and then the main campus would be another 10 minutes. You'll be sweaty when you get to the main campus for sure, but that's true of basically anywhere here. Its hot.

From what I've read, PBH seems to be a good option. Does anybody else have an opinion of this place (preferably a person who has lived there)? How fast is the internet there?
