$500 Deposit Deadline
Upon acceptance to Ross, I was informed that a $500 deposit is due to reserve place in the class for Sept. '06. The letter states that it is due within 2 weeks of receiving the letter. I am still waiting to hear back from 9 U.S. schools about a final decision, as I am many of you are too. Does anyone know if Ross will give extensions on the deadline of the deposit to reserve a place, or is this another way of making money. Ross must know that many students are still awaiting word from many U.S. schools at this stage of the game.
By all means, if the deadline is true to its word, the deposit will be sent in asap. Any of you in a similar situation? I am also waiting to hear back from SGU as well...should be hearing back withinn the next few days or so. Do they put you in similar situation, asking for a deposit well in advance to reserve a place? Thanks. |

Yes
Yes, all schools require a deposit to hold your seat - even SGU.
If you wait, you may risk losing your seat in that class. The class fills not by accepted students but by students who submit their deposit. At Ross you are actually lucky - they credit your whole deposit towards tuition unlike at least one other of the popular Caribbean schools which keeps a portion of your deposit (for what nobody knows). -M Quote:
