Thread: transferring money

I have a question about transferring money to banks in dominica. If I recalled correctly, the welcome packet said that I can deposit money into NCB with my ATM card from my bank here in the US and it would be treated like a cash advance. My question is, how much would that cost me? Can someone tell me how much they charge for transferring or wiring money. I'm with Bank of America. Can someone tell me how much they charge to transfer money? Thanks!

You actually use your BofA CHECK CARD, not your regular ATM card. NCB charges 1-2% of the amount you transfer. Alternately, you can have your bank WIRE the money, but I think that comes out to be more. Other bank questions? Look up National Commercial Bank of Dominica in a search engine. Their website is helpful.
