rossloss
RossLoss,
I wish you well in your endeavor as you seriously seem to think that "you have it made" while we at Ross do not. You cannot deny that determination alone will determine success, and not the degree which you hold. Keep in mind that once you've made it to an internal medicine residency, you are given a chance to prove your competitiveness to move on to a subspecialty like cardiology. Yes, they are difficult to obtain, but FMGs compete side-by-side with US grads; I do believe that the merits earned in residency are more important than where you earned your degree.

do yourself a favor
RossLoss,
You might want to do yourself a favor by letting go of your own insecurities about competing with us. We will take both USMLE examinations, and we will be obtaining residencies regardless of what you say. I am pretty sure that in the future, you may be working with more than one IMG, and you may actually begin to appreciate the diversity that exists in the world. It is interesting to note that you are the ONLY US med school student who is wasting his precious time trying to discourage us. To quote yourself: now, go study.

Methulsa
I don't know if you're mentally incapacitated, generally stupid, or by choice a an idiot. I'll apologize, but not being so articulate I cannot find the right words to describe your gross exageration and misinterpretation of my stance. I never discouraged any Ross student from doing what he or she is doing nor would I ever discourage a 2.5 applicant from going to Ross. If anyone is to be discouraged from going to Ross it's the prototypical pre-med (3.6/30 MCAT). Amazingly we seem to have a lot of them on this forum, which begs the question "Why didn't you get into a US school?"

so confused..
Why is RossLoss even on these forums?
Okay, you go to a US school. You're cool, awesome, stupendously brilliant.. are you getting yourself off on trying to make yourself seem better than people who didn't get in? Seriously, I'm genuinely confused. Your posts are extremely hostile and when someone points that out you get even more hostile. And what are you doing here anyways instead of studying, learning more about your own school, or with your friends? What is it to you if someone chooses to go to Ross rather than spend a few more years in limbo? We are not blind little babies, we know how to dig for information ourselves. And those that run blindly into something probably gets what they deserves.

What begs the question....
...you bumbling F$$King idiot is why anyone would chose a U.S school in my opinion. If I was offered Northwestern in the morning I would still take Ross. I know you could never understand my opinion..but that is why there are those who set trends and those who follow...you pathetic little fool?..Do you have a penis or did you give that up upon posting here. Where are your cojones????????.......

That's enough
After watching this string of posts for a while now, I believe it has far surpassed any usefullness. Thank you all for all your comments. While I understand that our opinions differ, we must remember that attacking eachother doesn't help accomplish our goals.
This string is now locked to further comment. Thank you, MitchDC
