Congratulations, Paul.
Best wishes.
511 points Congrats Paul - great news! I told you that you'd be accepted. They don't accept 95% of those interviewed, since that would make the interview a waster of money. But the interview is the final "make or break" on the decision.
I think you've made the right decision and one that you'll be quite happy with. Now you have lots of time until August to relax and get packed![]()

510 points are you saying that they do or dont accept 95% of those interviewed.
511 points Cut and pasted from my post above:
"They don't accept 95% of those interviewed..."
Am I not understanding your question correctly?
Ross University interviews students who they think would be a good candidate for medical school. They accept students they think can make it through medical school. Obviously, not all students will make it past the second "cut" - nowhere near 95%.

510 points Sorry I must be real tired or miss read it, probably both. I thought it was implying that Ross only accepted 5% of those interviewed.
511 points Oh - not a problem, I just wasn't sure I understood your question.

MITCH...
I dont understand what did you just say....can you be more SPECIFIC?
what do you mean by
""THEY DONT ACCEPT 95% OF THOSE INTERVIEW??''''
If they dont accept 95% of those interview, then they do accept the other 5%?
thank you
511 points Okay, I undertand the issue here. Let me explain - Somebody said that they had heard that "Ross University accepts 95% of those invited for an interview." I said that was not true. No, they clearly accept more than 5% of the people they interview, but its not 95%. I'd "guesstimate" that its more like 70%-75% of those that are interview are accepted. But clearly, it depends on their qualifications. Sorry for any confusion.
