How do you feel about the classes you have taken thus far?
Did you study mostly from lecture notes or did you use textbooks and medical journals in addition to the notes?

510 points I find myself studying more and more from the class notes, the first aid book (for guidance and hints) and using the textbooks to fill in holes I did not understand from lecture and and the notes themselves.
it also depends on who is doing the lecture and their notes. Some notes are just general outlines so I have to read more from the book while others are fairly complete and reading the book isn't as neccessary.
For me its a matter of time. I would enjoy reading everything, but I also like to rewrite my notes which are lengthy and time consuming. I should work on making my notes tighter so I can get more textbook reading in.
Might be easier to study for around this time of the year as well.
I tend to use the BRS books for their practice problems and then do the problems in the Pre-Test books.
Classes have been alright. Some are better than others. Some professors are better than others.
Sometimes a class doesn't feel like a lot was given until you sit down and go over it. Then it feels like it was too much.
Do what has worked for you in the past. I started off trying to redefine the way I had to study and I stumbled a lot. I did a lot better when I reverted back to my original study habits that I used which got me here.
