Fellowships and Ross graduates
hi...could someone explain what exactly a fellowship is...my understanding is that its a specific field of medicine you pursue AFTER residency...so for example, cardiology. How successful have ross grads been at getting fellowships?

Fellowships
Obtaining a fellowship depends even less on where you went to school than obtaining a residency. It depends more on the physician reviews of your job as a resident, research activity, etc.
We just had a Ross grad accepted to a HARVARD MRI Fellowship. He will start that next year after his Radiology Residency is over. That's about as successful as one can be in medicine. Hope that helps, MitchDC
