Ross (or other Caribs) or the Technion???
The Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Faculty of Medicine seems to be a great medical school of world-class caliber studies and graduates. From California residencies associated with the UCs (University of California) and Ivy League medical centers, it seems to be one of the very, very few medical schools that matches graduates to these top programs.
Here is a brief listing from what I could quickly find using Google: Roy Mansano - Ob/GYN - Harbor/UCLA Medical Center Rinat Jones - Pediatrics - UCLA Medican Center Tamir Hersonskey - NEUROSURGERY - University of Illinois Medical Center David Brodow - Anesthesiology - Columbia University Sheldon Newman - Anesthesiology - Albert Einstein College of Medicine - Long Island MC Yoram Yossefy - Peds. Anesthesiology - Albert Einstein College of Medicine - Long Island MC and so on... Moreover, two Chemistry and one Management Science Noble Prize Winner/Laureate arefrom Technion. In fact, all of Israel's laureates are from Technion. So, do the additional clinical clerkships/rotations in the US obtained from Ross and other Caribbean medical schools out-weight the Technion's solid reputation, great residencies, and paramount focus on the student (and not $$) for medical education? |
