Mountain Bike?
Just curious about transportation on Dominica... are people just walking everywhere, shipping down their cars (Jeep) or bringing bikes.
I love to mountain bike... didnt know if that was a good alternative. Any hiking/biking trails or 'jeep track' dirt roads that have great views on the island? Any place safe on campus to lock up a bike during class? Jeff

You may be better off buying a used one there, as you will pay a hefty tarriff if you bring a bike on the island...last one I saw was a junker worth about $50, and she payed $350 USD tax to bring it. You can get ones there.
