To give the incoming students an idea of lifestyle, will current students please comment on the following...if you have time?

How much are Ross medical students studying per week? How much are you playing? Sleeping? ValueMD And what marks are you getting in your classes? You might answer in this format:

Play
Family
ValueMD

I'm a new graduate but can still comment on your Q's.

You will have at least 4 hrs of lecture per day and an hour or two of lab 1-2 times per week. So you will have the rest of the day to study, sleep, and play. I would say most students study 6-8 hrs/day, sleep for 5-7 hrs, play for 1-2. Family? The majority of students don't have family on the island, so this would mainly consist of phone calls/internet chatting and/or emailing with family members throughout the day. Also you will have the weekend to review and catch up.

good luck,

A.[/quote]

studying

last semester my table in the lib (same 4 guys all semester-yea we are anal like that) studied for about 6-8 hours a day during the week. on the weekends a little longer during the days, then party as hard as you want at night, just as long as youre functional the next day. i dont think theyll mind me telling you that the highest gpa was a 4.0, lowest was around 3.6, with the avg being around 3.8
not too bad if you consider we def did party as hard as we could, when given the chance
family? none for us thanks-all back in the states, maybe a 10 minute call on the weekends, and i slept about 5-6 hours a night
