ROTATION SITES

One of the things I liked at Larkin FP Rotation is that they have a full time coordinator who is on top of every aspect of the Rotation. Very professional and conducive to teaching and learning.
The attendings in general are very receptive and eager to teach.
You don't just get assigned to follow somebody.

miami

[quote="link626"]

1. get an apt at a central location in miami, pay a couple hundred more, and maybe a car won't be necessary?

Honestly I dont see how its possible to get around without having a car down there if your clinical partner does not either. When I was there I did not have a car , but my roomate did and we were clinical partners. That being said, it still sucked not having one since I was always at someone else's mercy to get around. The places they send you to are never close, and the traffic is bad.

website

Just thought i'd mention that I found some NY housing options on the Ross Miami website. So students should check that website once in a while.

Miami housing

Can anyone give me an estimate of how much the Airport Villas are per month for a 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom? This place seems to be the most favored choice, but are there other options? I've been on the housing list on rossmiami.com but it just seems a little bit vague.

I really just want to see what's available. I don't mind a little bit less, to save some money, but I really don't want to live in a crap whole. Well.... at least when I'm in Miami there's a grocery store, and a place to get my clothes clean.... not just dominican clean.

Info on Airport Villas have already been mentioned on this thread. See post #6 on the first page of this thread. (see number on top right hand corner of each post....this post is #27).

Give them a call, see what they have available.

Maryland rotations

I am leaving bmore now that my time with ross has come to an end. Anybody rotating in Baltimore, Md can contact me about taking over a nice 1 bedroom cottage that is very conveniently located for both Harbor Hospital and St Agnes. Would be good place for any Baltimore rotations and only about a 1/2 hour commute to PG as well. My email is babydaddy75@aol.com

hey you people in miami........ pick up the newspaper.

are there lots of apartments for rent in the mia area?

All i'm seeing are $1500+ apartments, and at that rate, I'll be bankrupt by the end of that semester.

Man, the rent there is ridiculous..... it's even more than what most blue collars earn monthly. ridiculous..........
