yes, i think thats right. the texas thing is a recent event. there are probably lots of ross grads in practice in texas from the past. but because there were lots in the past doesnt mean that ross wasnt singled out in the present...one doesnt necessarily have anything to do with the other.
but the recent ban on applicants from ross didnt seem to affect peer institutions like sgu and auc so the brunt of the difficulty in proving equivalence lied with ross...hence the site visit. i dont think its incorrect to state that ross was singled out...because currently, auc and sgu grads can get licensed without a texas site visit while it was required of ross for ross grads to get licensed.
ultimately though, it worked out for the better, as ross has been deemed substantially equivalent to a texas school. less paperwork now than before.
