Family Med rotation at wycoff

Hey after harrassing the clinical dept. they scheduled me 1 rotation out of the five remaining ones...Family medicine at Wycoff starting in december after i finish my internal med rotation (which i had to set up myself)...

has anyone done their family rotation at wycoff? can you tell me a little about your experiences? i heard it was totally opposite from the IM rotation there....any help would be GREATLY appreciated...

Yes. It's more like the IM rotation should be. I really enjoyed it, although the didactics weren't as strong. There are even a couple of Ross grads in the program.

hi
I am doing FP currently at Wyckoff. It is not bad, in the sense of experience. Hours are very demading, somenights I left after working 26 hrs. But again, if patients are at ER. You do 2 wks night calls, 2 wks clinics and 2 wks inpatients. I am still waiting on my inpatient experience.
ALL H and P are done in the computer, and that sucks! You will find out why very soon :P
