That low score is probably going to screw you. Do you have time to reschedule before you leave? And at least try this time? You'd get your score in a month or whatever it is. If not Ross, you could try the cheaper, lower tier schools.

First of. If you don't have source for money semester 2 and on, don't waste your money on semester 1. Second, Ross will not take you with any score as transfer from SABA. This topic has been address many many many times.

You're better off pushing back your starting semester to figure out a different loan option.

Med school is stressful enough, you don't want to worry about finances on top of that.

Agreed. Push it back - figure out your plan of action. Retake the MCAT!! (this will open a lot of doors for you)

My plans got screwed up a bit, just take the extra time, study for the MCAT, get a part time job, enroll in some post-bacc classes. You can get federal loans for this. It helped my chances. They said they were impressed with my performance in those classes (take hard ones), as well as my MCAT improvement. And in any interviews you can certainly explain what happened. It is a reasonable reaction to a crappy circumstance, however, make sure you explain not putting effort on the MCAT was in retrospect a poor decision. That won't be a big deal, I pretty much said I did some stupid stuff in undergrad (W's on transcript I didn't need, getting horrible grades one semester, etc) and I learned from my mistakes. Being young explains a lot. Carib schools, even the top ones, are forgiving. In the US, they aren't. The fact that you got into a Big 4 already shows you can do it. This isn't as bad as you think. It's just going to push stuff back.

As a result of this unfortunate occurrence, I believe that I only have a day or two to wire transfer my tuition balance to Saba. I am confident that I can gather the necessary funds to pay my tuition balance, however, I unfortunately will not be able to personally finance my education from the second semester and thereafter as I assume that I will not be able to attain a loan for the second semester given the fact that my only option for a co-applicant will in the future be denied. I also feel it is imperative that I mention that I was granted admission in to Saba prior to the school implementing the MCAT as a requirement. Unfortunately, since the school announced that the MCAT was a requirement prior to my matriculation date, I was instructed by the school to take the MCAT or else I would not be able to attend. Given the fact that the school informed me that I would be allowed to matriculate no matter what score I achieved on the MCAT in addition with the fact that I was informed about the MCAT requirement on such short notice and had not taken Physics as well as the fact that I had no time whatsoever to study for the exam, I just randomly filled in answers and wrote nothing for the essays as I completed the test in a few minutes. As I expected, I earned an incredibly low score. I would greatly appreciate any advice anyone could provide regarding the best course of action to take at the current time.

Would it be a possibility for me to transfer to Ross prior to beginning at Saba (taking in to consideration my incredibly low MCAT score)? Or would it be a wiser decision to attempt to transfer in to Ross after I complete my first semester at Saba? How realistic is it for an individual to transfer from Saba in to Ross? Will I have any chance of completing a transfer from Saba to Ross after I complete my first semester (taking in to consideration my very low MCAT score)? Will my tremendously low MCAT score absolutely destroy my chances for transferring from Saba in to Ross either before I begin at Saba or after I complete my first semester at Saba? Any input on how the transfer process works and also what I should do given the aforementioned predicament will be greatly appreciated.
wow...basically you are screwed if continued what you were planning to do... Because sooner or later, those MCAT score will come back and haunt you (for rotation or maybe match)

I suggest you take 1 year off before heading to med school unprepared like you did now. Improving MCAT, work out financial problem (finding another co-signer is more realistic than work your *** off in some retail store and SAVE UP..) then reapply to Ross for Jan '12 semester. Take it or leave it..

    Hope it help.

not a SINGLE person has asked me about my mcat since admission to med school. its only important for getting in.

to the OP: def dont go until you have money for all of school. its terrible to have to leave mid way because of cash. dont do that to yourself
If you want to do something, then you will find a way.
If you want to do nothing, then you will find an excuse.
