510 points Are you sure about that. I am using them right now and have been since last septmeber.
This will bring terror to some students. I hear of people that are leaving the Island because of this already. But there stil seems to be hope. Apparently, National Educ may reconsider or something. Hope not many students get ruined by this.
Come on "bamo-nos", everybody lets go, come on lets get to it, I know that you can do it"
That'll really suck if they quit providing Ross. They are the only loan company that approved my loan!
I went to talk to the fancial aid offiicals and yes, indeed, National Education is out of the picture now...we can not get loans through them..Them told me to go through Sallie Mae.!
Uh oh, National Education is who I'm going through. Is this effective right away, for the Fall 2004 semester??
510 points I just got off the phone with someone from national education and they said that they were not reviewing any applications at this time, and that we should check with the school to see if that will change. So to me in sounds like a problem with the school, from what she was saying.
510 points i wonder why they won't loan money to ross students......
could it be that former ross students didn't repay their loans? :P

You may be correct in your thinking but I am sure that the major difference between Ross students and the US medical school students is that Ross has more students that flunk out opr leave school because of Dominica or not passing Usmle part 1. Obviously if they have $100,000+ loan and little current income how could they possibly pay the monies. This is probably now magnified by the icreased number of students that Ross is admitting.
This is just my possible interpetation.
When you become my age you will realize all of the hard work and studying was worth the effort.
"60 years young" another 60 to go if my doctor sons keep me alive with free prescriptions!!
I talked to somebody in financial aid today and they said Ross is talking it over with National Education and we'll be sent a campus wide email on Friday letting us know what is going to happen. They said it looks good though, though I don't know how reliable that statement is.
