Thread: AICM in Saginaw eliminated???

Is the ONLY location for AICM (5th sem) in Miami now?

The info I received and was checking after my acceptance to Ross offered that as a location. But a recent browsing of Ross' website states that AICM is in Miami and mentions none of the other locations.

I'm from the Midwest, I was thinking it would be nice to do AICM in MI.

Any info??

I'm just reporting what I thought was strange based on the website.

the reason for that is because ross does not technically run saginaw like they do miami. Ross contracts Synergy Medical Education to run the program there, so all the information for the program comes from synergy. Ross basically gives them a list of students and they run with it. The Miami program on the other hand is entirely under ross' umbrella
of course don't be expecting any information from their webpage either as if theres a page less informative and worse than ross' for AICM, it would be synergy's :P

Michigan is harder to get than Miami because Miami is the default. The program in MI is said to be better mostly because of organization. In Miami you get your clinical schedule for the week on Sunday, week starting the next day Monday. In Saginaw you get your schedule the 1st day of classes for the entire semester. All of your rotations and such are already on there. There is also research opportunity available in Saginaw.
